Though we've only been open for four months, we've been blown away by the support we've felt from our team, our community, and our patients. ❤️Before and after❤️. Poor Jango got more than he bargained for this week after trying to make friends with a porcupine 🦔. Porcupines live in trees (even desert trees!) and are covered in over 30,000 quills. Contrary to popular belief, porcupines can't "shoot" or throw their quills. Instead, the quills are so lightly attached, they come off easily when a predator encounters them. When the quills make contact with a predator, their design allows them to work their way into the skin at a rate of 1 mm an hour!

Thankfully our amazing team jumped right in and Jango is now quill free and feeling better 💙🩷🧡💚
